Biochar

Biochar is a solid, carbon-rich material that is highly stable in soil, obtained through the thermochemical conversion of biomass such as sugarcane bagasse, coffee husks, rice husks, and açaí seeds.

  • It retains 30 to 40% of water.
  • Neutralizes the pH.
  • Reduces leaching by up to 70%.
  • Stores minerals
  • It harbors microorganisms.
  • Increases cation exchange up to 100%.
  • Carbon retention in the soil

Our client hires Carbon Remove to:

To implement and operate a biochar production plant at the biomass site.
